Not every move needs the full package – but "a few mates and a rental van" isn't always the best idea either. Here's the honest comparison so you find the right option for your move.
Option 1: friends and family
Free, but risky: if the wardrobe falls down the stairs or someone strains their back, nobody pays. Private helpers are usually not insured during your move. Fine for a few boxes – less so for heavy furniture.
Option 2: book moving helpers by the hour
The middle way: you organize the van and the plan yourself, we provide the strong hands. Our moving helpers are permanent, insured employees – not anonymous helpers from classifieds. Ideal if you want to save costs but need pros for carrying, loading and unloading. On request we bring a van, straps and tools.
Option 3: full-service move
Packing, disassembly, transport, assembly, on request no-parking zone and disposal – you hand over the key and move in relaxed. At a binding fixed price, insured and with a dedicated contact. The most stress-free option, especially for larger flats, tight schedules or valuable furniture.
Our honest recommendation
- •1-room flat, little furniture: helpers by the hour are often enough
- •2–3 rooms: full service is almost always worth it – the time saved is enormous
- •Heavy single items (piano, wardrobe): never privately – pros with equipment
- •Tight budget: pack yourself, let us carry
Whichever option: drop us a line and we'll tell you honestly what you need – and what you don't. Free, non-binding, by phone or WhatsApp.
